CAREWare Interfaces

Connect your electronic health record system to CAREware to simplify reporting to HRSA by implementing an HL7 interface or a custom process to transfer data you’re your EMR to CAREware.

You can save time and optimize your processes with an integrated solution that transfers data between your EMR and CAREWare to support case management and HRSA reporting.

Systems to Integrate and Automate ADAP and CAREWare

In addition to EMR interfaces, contact us to integrate your AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) data with CAREWare. This could add “up to date” lab and insurance information to your CAREWare case management database from your ADAP systems and can help to ensure your ADAP membership is properly reflected in client-level ADAP reports that can be generated from CAREWare for required federal (HRSA) reporting.

AJBoggs has also developed a web-based ADAP application management system that tightly integrates with CAREWare. The ADAP application module is part of the CAREWare Dashboard Reporting System (visit www.care.biz), which was developed with the State of Michigan with funding from HRSA’s Special Projects of National Significance. About CAREWare

The US Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) funded the development of CAREWare and has created other tools to ensure the success of these efforts. For example, A.J. Boggs used HRSA funded software to generate Unique Identifier Numbers (UINs) to ensure anonymity of clients in the systems. (See our UIN Calculator.)

The CAREWare software uses Microsoft’s SQL Server 2005 database system (see the CAREWare System Administrator’s Guide for more details).

CAREWare systems are hosted in a secure data center with fully managed servers, including data backup, firewall, application monitoring, database administration and HIPAA compliance.
